data_usage Storage & data transparency

Every byte your account
touches, accounted for.

Sign in with your Vault username and secret key to see how much storage you use on Pinata / IPFS (your encrypted blobs) and on our servers (the variant data we derive and keep). The key is only used locally to prove who you are — it never leaves this page in the clear.

pie_chart Where your storage lives

Two pillars: encrypted blobs pinned off-site to IPFS, and the data we derive & keep on our own servers.

hub Pinata & IPFS — off-server storage

Your VCFs are AES-256 encrypted in the browser, then pinned to IPFS through Pinata. We only ever relay ciphertext — the plaintext genome never touches our disks.

dns Our servers — Postgres footprint

Everything we derive from your files and keep in our database. Sizes are estimated from each table's real on-disk heap & index size, proportioned by your share of rows.
